H I S T O R Y

Marius was born the only child of a small Norwegian family, though he had an odd trait even as a baby. While his left eye was a dark blue, he had no right pupil; instead, there was some sort of green symbol there instead. As a child, the doctors had no clue what to do with it, other than covering it with an eyepatch as a temporary solution.

His powers didn't truly awaken until he was in grade school. Marius' mother thought that his rather un-natural silver hair was very pretty when it was long, and thus she never had him cut it. This gave Marius a rather girly look as a child, and he was constantly picked on for that, as well as for his eye patch. One day in school a group of bullies pinned him to the ground and pulled off his eye patch; the leader of the group wanting to see what he was hiding. Instead he got a look directly into Marius' eye. Marius, being a child at the time, was angry and upset, placed the other child in the illusion world, where the bully was quite literally in hell.

A week later the boy who had picked on him stepped in front of a bus and was killed instantly. This didn't register to Marius right away, but a few years later when he was in High School it happened again. It was a graduation party, a night that was supposed to be happy for students. Marius' date had been a sweet girl, though she was fairly popular. After prom she leaned over to kiss him in his car and carefully removed his eye patch; revealing the eye. She didn't seem freaked out by it, the illusionary world she was placed in wasn't anything awful; instead, it was nearly the perfect world. With that, she fell in love with him.

However, as time went on, she wished to marry, and Marius was not ready. Instead, he planned to move to London in an attempt to build a new life and begin a new career. Devastated by being turned away by her only love, the girl he was dating committed suicide. That was six months ago, and the local papers picked up on the event, listing his name as her spouse.

Marius has just settled into his apartment in London, attempting to find a job.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Marius is dealing with his inner demons, but he's a sweet guy. He's warm once someone gets to know him, but he's having problems dealing with the death of his girlfriend only a few months ago. He has somewhat deduced what his power is, and attempts to not use it unless absolutely necessary. He's been quite distant lately, and at times can be very locked up and shut-away from people he doesn't know; however, truthfully, he longs to be accepted by the people around him for who he is.
